Apexon is seeking an IBM LDAP Subject Matter Expert to upgrade IBM Security Verify Directory from 10.x to 11.x on Red Hat Enterprise Linux across multiple client environments. Responsibilities

Plan and execute ISVD upgrades 10.x→11.x.
Perform LDAP upgrades on RHEL across client environments.
Ensure compatibility with consuming applications (ISVG/ISVA).
Validate upgraded LDAP environments and ensure quality post-implementation.
Troubleshoot upgrade issues and document processes.
Prepare upgrade plans and technical documentation.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM LDAP Subject Matter Expert to upgrade IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) from version 10.x to version 11.x on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) across multiple client environments.

The LDAP environment is consumed by IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG), formerly ISIM, and IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA), formerly ISAM. The ideal candidate should have strong hands on IBM LDAP experience and the ability to execute upgrades across client environments while maintaining quality and preparing the required technical documentation.

Required Skills

Strong hands on experience with IBM LDAP.
Experience upgrading IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) from version 10.x to version 11.x.
Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Ability to perform LDAP upgrades across multiple client environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM).
Experience with IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM).
Experience with IBM DB2.
Familiarity with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) and IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA).

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) upgrades from version 10.x to version 11.x.
Perform LDAP upgrades on RHEL across multiple client environments.
Ensure compatibility with consuming applications, including ISVG and ISVA.
Validate the upgraded LDAP environments and ensure quality after implementation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during the upgrade process.
Prepare upgrade plans, technical documentation, and other required project documents.
Coordinate upgrade activities across client environments to ensure successful completion.
Successful completion of IBM LDAP upgrades across all designated client environments.
Quality validation of upgraded ISVD environments.
Upgrade documentation and other required technical documentation.

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
