Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks an experienced Systems Engineer for Identity Management Systems to architect, deploy, and administer IAM solutions. The role focuses on PKI, MFA, and identity governance, working closely with security and operations teams.

A hybrid work arrangement is available, with on-site presence as needed and on-call rotation. The successful candidate will lead identity platforms, manage certificates, and coordinate with enterprise platforms and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PKI services and operations.
• Experience with MFA solutions and tokens across multiple OS.
• Familiarity with PKI systems based on Microsoft Certificate Services.
• Experience with identity management systems and LDAP/AD.
• Ability to use AI services and automation for operations.
• Strong networking and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and administer PKI infrastructure for cloud and on-prem components.
• Lead multi-factor authentication and token management initiatives.
• Manage certificate administration for end-point configurations and SSO.
• Design and support identity management solutions across platforms.
• Create artifacts to support IAM roadmap, vendor management, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and maintain system availability.
• Participate in IT service management activities for IAM systems.
