Alignerr Corp. is seeking an experienced IAM Solutions Engineer to evaluate identity workflows, authentication mechanisms, and permission structures across complex environments.

This fully remote, hourly contract role targets seasoned IAM professionals who can work independently and deliver clear, actionable findings. You will review end-to-end identity workflows, analyze access-control policies, validate SSO/MFA/federated identity across platforms, and document permission structures for

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms, identity protocols, and access-control models.
• Strong understanding of authentication flows — SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
• Ability to evaluate complex permission structures and translate findings into clear documentation.
• Methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong independent judgment.
• Comfortable working asynchronously and delivering quality work without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review end-to-end identity workflows covering authentication and authorization logic.
• Analyze access-control policies for least-privilege alignment and misconfigurations.
• Validate SSO, MFA, federated identity, and directory integrations across platforms.
• Identify security gaps in privilege provisioning and identity lifecycle management.
• Document permission structures in clear, structured, and actionable formats.
• Support recurring IAM reviews across multiple identity platforms and environments.
• Surface improvement recommendations grounded in industry best practices.
