Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, in partnership with Chronosphere, seeks an IAM-focused leader to own a critical access control platform. The role sits between platform engineering and product, protecting access to dashboards, APIs, and customer data.

You will scale the team, drive reliability, and align with security/compliance partners across a growing organization. You will start by learning authentication/authorization systems, meet key partners, and progressively define and execute the broader roadmap

Responsibilities

• Partner with your PM to assess customer needs, co-create the roadmap, and own delivery.
• Balance large investments with steady customer-driven requests.
• Guide architectural decisions and design in a granular access control framework.
• Hire and onboard engineers; evolve the team’s norms and cadence.
• Monitor SLOs/SLAs and system health to meet reliability goals.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams on reviews and audits.
