Job summary

Allstate is seeking a senior Infrastructure as Code engineer to lead the development and adoption of enterprise-scale automation. You will design reusable infrastructure solutions, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with platform teams to deliver self-service capabilities across omni-hosted environments.

The role emphasizes establishing engineering standards, building automation frameworks, and applying AI-assisted practices to improve delivery speed and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years with Infrastructure as Code principles and practices.
• Experience with CI/CD for infrastructure deployments.
• Strong background in building infrastructure automation solutions.
• Experience designing reusable modules and automation standards.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, PRs, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Own IaC strategy, standards, governance and adoption roadmap.
• Design and maintain scalable automation across multi-host platforms.
• Build reusable modules, templates, and self-service automation.
• Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, Rundeck, Python.
• Collaborate with platform teams to enable self-service infrastructure.
• Create documentation and reference architectures for IaC tooling and CI/CD.
