Job summary

E2 Optics is seeking a Hyperscale Infrastructure Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for large-scale data center projects. The role requires deep knowledge of hyperscale facilities, field take-offs, and collaboration with sales and project management to ensure accurate bids.

Key requirements include an engineering or related degree, several years of large project estimating experience, and proficiency with Bluebeam and AutoCAD/BIM360.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field preferred; experience may substitute for degree.
• RCDD is required.
• Minimum of five years' experience estimating large scale hyperscale data center projects.
• Structured Cabling/Low Voltage experience required.
• Bluebeam expertise is REQUIRED.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/BIM360 is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Ability to develop accurate, detailed estimates using company tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete cost estimates for projects.
• Understand and monitor program of work to ensure timely estimates.
• Perform field take-offs/evaluations for estimate preparation.
• Coordinate with Sales and Project Management to create site logistics and execution plans.
• Review contracts and documentation to determine project requirements.
• Read and understand blueprints.
