Cindavi, a hydraulics-focused engineering team, seeks a Hydraulics Systems Designer to own hydraulic systems and test circuits for factory equipment. You will drive projects from concept to completion in a collaborative environment with mechanical, controls, and electrical engineers.

The role offers remote work from the Midwest, a base salary in the range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, relocation support for the right candidate, and occasional travel of about one week per quarter.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years designing hydraulic equipment for manufacturing environments.
• Ability to create clear hydraulic drawings and design documentation.
• Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders or teams.
• Degree not required if hands-on experience and capability are demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of hydraulic systems and test circuits for industrial equipment.
• Create accurate hydraulic drawings and documentation for build, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
• Lead hydraulic projects from requirements through execution and completion.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and electrical engineers on integrated solutions.
• Support hydraulic upgrades at plants with strong ownership and minimal supervision.
