Job summary

Cindavi is hiring a Hydraulics Systems Designer to own hydraulic systems and test circuits for industrial factory equipment across multiple plants. You will drive design from concept through completion and collaborate with mechanical, controls, and electrical teams to deliver integrated machine solutions.

This role offers remote work from the Midwest, a base salary of $120,000 to $140,000, relocation assistance for the right candidate, and occasional travel of about one week per quarter.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience designing hydraulic equipment for manufacturing or factory environments.
• Hands-on CAD experience with SolidWorks (preferred).
• Strong AutoCAD experience creating and interpreting hydraulic drawings.
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate technical stakeholders.
• Degree not required if hands-on experience and capability justify it.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of hydraulic systems and test circuits for industrial equipment.
• Create clear hydraulic drawings and documentation for build, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
• Lead hydraulic projects from requirements through execution and completion.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and electrical engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support hydraulic upgrades at plants and ensure on-time delivery with technical ownership.
