Job summary

Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics in Johnstown, PA is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to develop and perform analyses in support of the Naval Electronics' supply chain and procurement function.

You will evaluate forecasts, coordinate with procurement, and use Power BI to transform DataMart data into actionable insights. This role supports DoD-related processes and offers remote/hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in high technology, aerospace or defense or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management tools and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, particularly “influence management” and “conflict resolution”
• Experience with earned value cost accounting and reporting; experience with metrics for assessing and reporting program and/or commodity progress, productivity and variance analysis
• Experience in finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and DoD, ITAR, EAR, FAR, DFAR regulations
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Must have a successful track record in managing complex aerospace/defense supply chain activities
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business forecasts and pinpoint areas of vulnerability in company requirements.
• Hold a procurement kick-off meeting with Procurement after the initial Kick-Off with the Program Manager.
• Ensure contract flow-downs are identified and passed to Purchasing.
• Interact with Program Management on cost issues and required details.
• Monitor Target Costs against Proposal Costs; consolidate requisitions for leverage pricing.
• Review open requisitions weekly and meet with Commodity Manager.
• Advise planning, engineering and drafting on item master errors related to mil-specs or obsolete items.
• Advise changes in prices or lead times that affect costs or production.
• Assist with communication between buyers, suppliers and Program teams.
• Monitor weekly Program meetings for potential issues to address early.
• Expedite critical components to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Look for ways to improve purchasing to contribute to company goals.
• Represent Supply Chain during customer negotiations and program reviews; prepare charts for Customer presentations.
• Utilize Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI to transform DataMart data into manageable information.
