Quaise Energy is seeking a Project Controls Lead to own the financial backbone of geothermal development projects, partnering with Finance and Supply Chain teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required/preferred).
• 5–7+ years of experience in project accounting, project controls, project administration, construction accounting or related roles.
• Experience in energy development or ownership company preferred; construction/industrial project controls valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to the project team, providing day-to-day financial support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Own project-level accounting including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, invoice review, and approval workflows.
• Maintain budget vs. actual reporting and cash flow forecasts; communicate variances.
• Track project commitments, change orders, and vendor payments per EPC and procurement contracts.
• Oversee imports/customs, logistics, storage and maintenance in procurement lifecycle.
• Support tax credit compliance plans and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants and internal teams for compliance execution.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of a separate project controls platform; define workflows and adoption.
• Collaborate across Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Corporate Finance.
