Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is seeking an experienced RN Didactic Hybrid Instructor for our Vocational Nursing Program at the San Jose campus. This role involves remote/online synchronous teaching of nursing didactic courses, with on-campus availability for meetings as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license (or LVN pathway), a Bachelor's degree, and teaching credentials or progress toward one, plus at least three years of nursing experience within the last five years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• California RN license required or equivalent
• Teaching credential or active pursuit of credential is acceptable
• Minimum three years of nursing experience in last five years

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned didactic classes remotely (Online Synchronous)
• Coordinate with faculty and program leadership
• Maintain knowledge of medical education and ensure CME requirements
• Support program standards and campus activities as needed
