Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts Modesto is seeking Didactic Nursing Instructors for the Vocational Nursing program at our Modesto Campus, with part-time positions available. Instructors will teach assigned Didactic classes Remote/Online Synchronous for the Gurnick Campus Vocational Nursing program.

Applicants must meet BVNPT requirements for LVN/RN faculty, including a California license, and hold a bachelor’s degree or approved teaching credential, with at least three years of nursing

Qualifications

BVNPT requires a Bachelor’s degree for LVN and RN faculty candidates.
Instructor must meet California teaching requirements or have completed related coursework.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned Didactic classes Remote/Online Synchronous for the Gurnick Campus Vocational Nursing program.
Meet with didactic and clinical faculty to discuss program development.
Attend on-campus meetings as needed for faculty and advisory board sessions.
Support Campus Director and Nursing Program Leadership in organizing and implementing standards.
Maintain knowledge of medical education and ensure compliance with CME requirements.
