Job summary

AttainX, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst II to support the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Critical Infrastructure Collaboration Platform. The role blends business and financial analysis to inform decisions and drive system improvements.

The candidate will document requirements, liaise with IT and finance teams, and help manage backlogs, reports, and risk assessments in a hybrid remote Arlington environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience in business systems analysis, requirements analysis, financial analysis, or a combination of these areas.
• Experience gathering user needs and documenting system requirements, scope, objectives, workflows, and specifications.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and nonfunctional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs; identify systems solutions that support business strategies.
• Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create specifications for development and implementation.
• Serve as liaison between IT and users; clarify needs, resolve questions, and communicate changes.
• Map workflows, identify gaps, and develop user stories and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
