AbacusPro in Louisville, KY is hiring a Bookkeeper | Client Services to support multiple client accounts with day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and client service. This growth-oriented role offers a path to seniority based on performance, ownership, and client service skills.

You will manage client accounting tasks, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with a team to improve processes. The role supports hybrid/in-office/remote arrangement options based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for assigned CAS clients.
• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, as applicable.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as a day-to-day accounting contact for assigned clients.
• Respond to routine client questions and escalate complex matters when appropriate.
• Maintain organized documentation and complete work in accordance with GAAP and firm standards.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements.
