Abacus! in Springfield, MO is seeking a Bookkeeper | Client Services to support multiple clients with day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting. This growth-oriented role requires strong bookkeeping fundamentals, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 2-3 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
• Strong bookkeeping fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop preferred.
• Public accounting, CAS, or outsourced accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar credential is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple CAS clients.
• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable as applicable.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Review data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as day-to-day accounting contact for clients.
• Respond to routine questions and escalate complex matters.
• Maintain organized documentation and GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to process improvements.
