Ryan & Wetmore, PC in the greater Washington DC area is seeking Accounting Interns for Spring 2027 (January–April) at its Bethesda, Vienna, and Frederick offices. Interns work about 20 hours per week as part-time staff and gain hands-on experience across tax, attest, and accounting engagements for a range of clients.

Qualifications

Pursuing undergrad or grad degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics with anticipated graduation by May 2028.
Completed a minimum of 90 credit hours toward B.A./B.S. at an accredited university.
Desire to obtain a CPA license.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Support engagements across tax, attest, and accounting for multiple clients.
Assist with audits and financial statement workpapers.
Assist with data entry, research, and timekeeping tasks.
Communicate effectively with clients and firm leadership.
Support remote and on-site teams across 3 office locations.
