Job summary

Ryan LLC invites applications for the Summer 2027 Intern role in R&E Tax Credits in Washington, DC. This full-time internship offers hands-on training with tax experts on state, local, federal, and international taxation for Fortune 500 and 1,000 clients.

You will gain experience in client service, research, and tax controversy support, while developing skills in data analysis and memorandum drafting. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship.
• Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 2.8.
• Minimum of 6–12 Accounting hours depending on practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service to multi-state companies by identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax controversies, including preparing for auditor discussions and hearings.
• Research and draft technical memoranda on state and local tax questions.
