Job summary

Ryan & Wetmore, PC offers Spring 2027 Accounting Intern positions (January–April) at our Bethesda MD, Vienna VA, and Frederick MD offices. The interns work roughly 20 hours per week as part-time employees, gaining hands-on experience across tax, attest, and accounting engagements for diverse clients.

You will be trained on IT systems, perform accounting tasks, and develop expertise in tax strategy, audit, and client accounting services.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Anticipated graduation date no later than May 2028.
• Have completed minimum 90 credit hours towards degree.
• Desire to obtain a CPA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting, tax, attest, and related tasks across engagements.
• Assist with financial statement prep, footnotes, and internal controls observations.
• Research issues using online tools and maintain client communications.
• Support timekeeping and administrative duties as needed.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver high-quality service.
