Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Manager to oversee substation construction and energization on nationwide solar and storage projects. The role is fully remote, with responsibilities spanning design, procurement, testing and utility interconnection coordination.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and within safety standards, traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in substation design, construction, or commissioning.
• Experience with HV substations (69kV–500kV).
• PE or PMP preferred; NFPA 70E familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute responsibilities focused on substation design, construction, testing and energization.
• Manage budgets for procurement, civil sitework, grounding, control and SCADA.
• Lead subcontractors, RFI processing, and change order reviews.
• Oversee interconnection timelines and utility coordination meetings.
• Facilitate kickoff, pre-commissioning and energization reviews.
