micro1 is a data lab that helps AI labs & Enterprises train foundational models and agents. We provide frontier evaluations and reinforcement learning environments to improve LLM capabilities, as well as contextual evaluations to monitor and improve AI agents in enterprise settings. Role: Humanitarian Aid Representative (Contractor).

Location: Remote. You will design, review, and refine scenarios involving civilian harm and IHL, shaping how models learn and respond with high-quality real-world

Formación

• Background in humanitarian operations, protection, or policy with major NGOs or UN agencies.
• Strong grounding in International Humanitarian Law and civilian-protection principles.
• Experience teaching, training, or field leadership related to humanitarian action or IHL dissemination.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, especially in crafting complex case material.
• Proven ability to apply proportionality reasoning in conflict or protection scenarios.
• Experience documenting or reporting on edge cases or challenging humanitarian situations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop nuanced cases and scenarios focused on civilian protection and proportionality for AI model evaluation.
• Assess and grade AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth of reasoning, and sensitivity to civilian-harm considerations.
• Identify and flag excessive caution or insufficient restraint in model responses from a humanitarian perspective.
• Document challenging cases to inform future training and refinement of AI systems.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify humanitarian concepts and contribute to IHL-related guidance.
• Maintain precise, clear records of findings and recommendations.
