Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking a highly experienced HSE Lead to drive and continuously improve HSSE programs across North America, spanning sites, manufacturing, R&D, and field service. You will partner with leadership to mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a strong safety culture.

The role requires 8+ years of HSE experience in electrical manufacturing or field service, deep ISO 45001/OSHA expertise, and proven multi-site leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HSE experience in manufacturing, energy, or field-service environments.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 45001, OSHA, EPA, and workers' compensation requirements.
• Proven experience leading audits, investigations, and multi-site HSE programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve HSSE programs across North America.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate HSSE risks; maintain risk assessments and permits.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and related US/Canada laws.
• Own ISO 45001 management systems, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage contractor HSE performance and onboarding processes.
• Lead incident investigations, crisis response, and emergency planning.
• Develop and deliver HSSE training programs.
• Oversee electrical safety and arc-flash compliance.
• Track HSSE metrics and report to leadership.
• Support site setups, audits, tenders, and improvement projects.
