Georgia Connections Academy is a tuition-free, full-time virtual school serving students across Georgia. The Math Interventionist will support and motivate students through high-quality virtual instruction using the Pearson Online Classroom, delivering both synchronous and asynchronous lessons from the Duluth office and the home office within Georgia.

The role requires a Georgia teaching certification in Mathematics (6-12), strong technology skills, and the ability to collaborate with teachers

Qualifications

• Must hold a Georgia teaching certification in Mathematics (6-12).
• Bachelor’s Degree in the content area or related field.
• Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Willingness to travel for events and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources.
• Provide Tier 1 instruction and support MTSS/RTI interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement accommodations.
• Use data to diagnose learning needs and adjust instruction.
• Maintain knowledge of K-12 curriculum pathways and course specifics.
