Job summary

UNLV seeks a Human Research Protection Program Education and Accreditation Manager to lead education programming for human subjects research, develop SOPs, and manage AAHRPP accreditation activities. The role collaborates with the Director and across campus to ensure compliance, implement QA/QI improvements, and support researchers and HRPP staff.

Qualifications

• This position requires at least five years of experience in human subjects research administration.
• IRB CIP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational programming for the HRPP and related compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain institutional SOPs and forms; implement changes from SOP development.
• Manage AAHRPP reaccreditation activities, site visits, and annual reports.
• Coordinate QA/QI activities for HRPP, including researcher and staff education.
• Collaborate across HRPP and other university units to improve processes.
