Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative in Norfolk, VA to serve as front-line support for colleagues, answering inquiries on HR policies, processes and transactions. The role requires handling onboarding and offboarding tasks, ensuring accurate processing and maintaining documentation with discretion and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of HR or administrative experience and strong customer service and communication skills, with experience using Workday.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front-line HR support to colleagues with real-time, accurate responses regarding HR issues, policies and processes.
• Process employee transactions accurately based on research and guidelines.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and HR cyclical activities.
• Escalate complex issues when applicable and maintain HR records.
