Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative in Norfolk, VA to deliver front-line HR support, answering inquiries and guiding colleagues through policies and procedures. You will process employee transactions accurately and assist with onboarding and offboarding, while maintaining confidential records and complying with HR guidelines.

The role requires at least 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, HR exposure, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer services experience (Required)
• HR experience (Preferred)
• Must have Pre and/or Onboarding Experience
• Strong experience with Workday
• Understands confidentiality, communication and customer service
• Documentation and Updating HR Records

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line HR support by answering inquiries about policies, procedures and processes.
• Process employee transactions accurately based on guidelines and information.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities and HR cyclical processes.
• Escalate complex issues and collaborate with HR team to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain documentation and records for HR-related cases to support compliance.
