Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) seeks an experienced HR Manager to oversee benefits administration, ACA compliance, HRIS, payroll support, and employee relations. You will report to the HR Director and supervise HR staff, ensuring compliant, efficient operations and a positive employee experience.

The role entails partnering with managers, supporting pre-boarding/onboarding, and maintaining HR policies while advancing organizational growth in a remote New England–based setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years HR experience in benefits, HRIS, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of ACA compliance and payroll processes.

Mansioni

• Oversee benefits administration (health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO).
• Ensure ACA compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Administer leaves (FMLA, state leaves, ADA, workers’ comp).
• Supervise HR team member; provide guidance and development.
• Backup support for pre-boarding, payroll, and HR operations.
