Job summary

Ministry HR Group is seeking an HR Manager to consult with Christian mission and church clients on strategic and tactical HR. The role is full-time, W2, remote with US daytime hours, supporting 4-5 clients with comprehensive HR programs including recruiting, compensation, benefits, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years as HR Manager, with broad HR leadership.
• Minimum 5 years HR leadership in Christian mission or church.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Leadership, or equivalent HR experience.
• Current US-based HR professional certification (SHRM or HRCI preferred).
• Consulting experience is an asset.
• Proven ability to lead a wide variety of HR programs.
• Strong ability to coach Executives on people practices.
• Advanced skills in Google Suite and learning new software quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to apply Biblical references in HR coaching and materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide Fractional HR Management for up to 5 Christian mission and church clients.
• Work with leadership to conduct HR audits, needs analysis and HR Strategic Plans.
• Design, implement and maintain HR programs with client leadership.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, engagement, performance, policies & compliance, training and development.
• Advise on Employee Relations issues.
• Architect and implement HRIS systems for clients.
• Ensure HR compliance across US states and some international missions.
• Remain engaged in ongoing learning and client discussions.
