Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis Co. invites a college student pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related fields to join our 12-week Summer Internship Program (PLOT) as a Human Resources/People & Culture Intern.

You will learn from seasoned HR professionals, work on projects across employee relations, talent management, onboarding, and HR operations, and present learnings to leadership. A scholarship may be awarded upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in HR or related field with interest in people and culture.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn and contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and recruiting activities.
• Assist with employee programs and HR initiatives.
• Research HR trends and workforce data.
• Assist in creating employee communications and training materials.
• Support special projects across the People & Culture organization.
• Prepare a final PowerPoint presentation to highlight project work.
