Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HR experience including employee relations.
• Knowledge of federal, California and Oregon employment laws.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply employment laws.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Recognize compliance risks and escalate appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience mentoring HR staff.
• Proficient with HRIS and MS Office.
• Residence and work in CA/OR/WA.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employee relations and performance management.
• Independently assess employee relations issues and risks.
• Conduct workplace investigations and prepare findings.
• Ensure policy compliance and escalate as needed.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS administration.
• Coordinate HR projects and deadlines.
• Advise executives and department leaders.
