Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a tactical and strategic HR partner across business units in a remote setting within the Eastern/Central time zones. You will drive employee relations, leave support, organizational development, and performance management to align people strategies with company goals.

The role requires a proactive, people-focused professional with 7+ years HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Hands-on experience using HRIS; Workday is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IL state law and compliance.
• Must be located in Eastern or Central time zone in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating Business Processes: Initiating organization changes in Workday and VantagePoint.
• Managing Employee Relations: First level support for group leaders and department leaders, creating job descriptions and career tools.
• Coordinating Leave Support: Provide guidance to managers and employees on leaves of absence.
• Fostering Employee Communications: Manage onboarding, check-ins, pulse surveys, and exits.
• Driving Performance Management: Support feedback, coach managers, and develop engagement programs.
• Ensuring HR Compliance: Maintain compliance with laws and company policies.
