Job summary

Cambridge Computer is seeking an HPC AI Network Technologist to design, implement, and optimize scalable network infrastructures for HPC and AI workloads. You will work remotely on field-based engagements, traveling as needed to client sites and leading technical discussions with stakeholders.

You should bring 5+ years of networking deployment or cluster administration, strong Linux skills, and experience with InfiniBand, 100/400GbE, and HPC schedulers.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years providing networking deployment services and/or cluster administration.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing) and hands-on with network equipment.
• Networking certifications from Cisco, NVIDIA/Mellanox, Juniper, Arista, HPE Aruba preferred.
• Solid Linux administration, storage tech familiarity, and HPC scheduler experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather client networking requirements and design optimized HPC/AI solutions.
• Design and maintain high-throughput, low-latency networks (InfiniBand/100/400GbE).
• Deploy new HPC/AI solutions and augment existing ones from ground up.
• Configure and optimize network devices for performance and reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity, latency, and security issues.
• Lead technical discussions and act as the client-facing model for Cambridge Computer.
• Document configurations and procedures for operational continuity.
