Job summary

IntellaTriage is seeking a compassionate registered nurse (RN) to join our growing team. In this remote role, you will provide after-hours hospice triage by phone with professionalism and empathy, triaging patients and families and coordinating timely care.

This remote position offers paid training, PTO, 401(k), and opportunities to increase pay to $28/hour within six months, with shift differentials for overnights and weekends, all from a home-based setting.

Qualifications

• Active multistate RN license required.
• Hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care experience preferred.
• Comfort with EMR and documenting calls.
• Typing documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle stress and multitask during busy periods (min 5 calls/hour weekdays, up to 8/hour weekends).

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage for hospice patients and families.
• Assess patient conditions and determine next steps.
• Collaborate with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources.
• Accurately document all communications and interventions.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanour during urgent calls.
