Job summary

Healthcare Provider Solutions is seeking a Clinical Consultant to join our remote clinical consulting team. The role focuses on hospice quality assurance, chart reviews, and Medicare hospice issues, including ADR/UPIC/SMRC/OIG audits.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of hospice auditing/compliance experience and be able to travel approximately one third of the time. RN or Therapist credentials are required, with experience in Mock Surveys and multiple EMR systems.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in hospice auditing/compliance, preferably the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Participate in remote and on-site chart audits for clients regarding clinical, HOPE, and billing issues.
• Document summary reports and forward to supervisor and client.
• Possibly conduct mock surveys for hospice agencies.
• Stay updated on Medicare hospice issues via various sources.
• Answer clinical questions from clients via email.
