Job summary

Compass Healthcare Consulting and Placement is seeking a Hospice Quality Assurance RN to support data collection, aggregation and analysis for Home Care and Hospice QA&I monitors. The role includes regulatory monitoring and assisting in educational activities.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of data-entry experience are required; strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail are essential. On-site position with robust benefits and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the collection of data generated for the QA/PI program for Home Care and Hospice.
• Develop and format data collection tools as directed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of data collected.
• Prepares Hospice CAHPS mailing list monthly prior to submission to Press Ganey.
• Calculate response rates for various surveys and data collection processes.
• Coordinates the timely and accurate implementation of telephone surveys; collate responses.
• Enters survey/QA & I data onto appropriate computer program.
• Prepares mailings and meeting arrangements and takes minutes.
• QA & I and Professional Advisory Committees and Performance Improvement meetings.
• Maintains accurate education records on each employee within Home Care.
• Collects Medicare D information and notifies appropriate Medicare D Plan upon admission and discharge for Medicare Hospice patients.

Compass Healthcare Consulting and Placement is searching for a Hospice Quality Assurance RN for our client, a leader in the field of hospice and palliative care. The Hospice Quality Assurance RN will assist in the collection, aggregation and analysis of data for Home Care and Hospice QA&I monitors. Responsible for data entry for intra-departmental monitoring as well as regulatory monitoring. Assists the Assistant Director of Regulatory Compliance and the Regulatory Compliance Coordinator in all educational and compliance activities.
