Job summary

Healthcare Provider Solutions is seeking a full-time Clinical Consultant to join our clinical consulting team remotely. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hospice auditing/compliance experience and can work independently from home. Travel approximately one third of the time, and hold RN or Therapist credentials with experience in multiple EMR systems.

You will conduct chart audits, prepare summary reports, and contribute to hospice-related research for the company blog.

Responsibilities

• Participate in remote and on-site chart audits for clients regarding clinical, HOPE, and billing issues. Conduct ADR/UPIC/SMRC/OIG chart reviews for clients upon request.
• Document summary reports regarding the results of these audits and forward them to both supervisor and client.
• Possibly conduct mock surveys for hospice agencies.
• Keep updated on Medicare hospice issues utilizing websites, teleconferences, newsletters, magazines, etc.
• Answer clinical questions from clients or potential clients that email questions.
• Participate in teleconferences, meetings, and forums focusing on Medicare hospice issues to maintain high standards for HPS staff.
• Potentially research and write hospice-related articles for HPS Blog.
• Travel approximately 1/3 of the time.

Our company is seeking a full-timeREMOTE Clinical Consultant to work on our clinical consulting team. The ideal candidate for this job has a minimum of 2 years of experience in Hospice Quality Assurance/Compliance reviews.

• Participate in the completion of remote and on-site chart audits for clients regarding clinical, HOPE, and billing issues. Conduct ADR/UPIC/SMRC/OIG chart reviews for clients upon request.

• Potentially, perform related research and writing of hospice related articles for HPS Blog.
• Professional candidates must be able to travel approximately 1/3 of the time.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in hospice auditing/compliance preferably the last two years
• Travel at least 1/3 of the time
• Registered Nurse or Therapist
• Experience with Mock Surveys
• Experience in multiple EMR systems for hospice is a MUST.

Compensation and Benefits

• Paid Time Off (PTO; starts accruing day one and is available for use following probationary period of 60 days)
