Job summary

National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a Homeowners Liability Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our growing team. The role covers liability claims across all 50 states, with emphasis on homeowners liability and bodily injury litigation expertise.

You will evaluate coverage, liability and damages, negotiate settlements, and mentor junior adjusters while following internal policies and guidelines. This remote opportunity supports candidates in the eastern and central time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience in bodily injury litigation and homeowners liability claims, with litigation experience required.
• Open to candidates with strong commercial claims background and transferable liability expertise.
• Role open to eastern and central time zone states.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and other potential property damage.
• Identifies customer needs and uses appropriate customer service skills.
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for complex cases.
• Applies understanding of insurance policies and organizational relationships within the company.
• Recommends process improvements and optimizes workflows.
• Handles claims involving injuries and negotiates complex or catastrophic injury claims.
