Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. seeks a Home Health Billing and Collections Specialist to manage daily billing and collections for our Home Health Revenue Cycle Department. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely posting of payments from insurers and patients.

Ideal candidates have Ohio experience, DDE knowledge, and a strong background in medical collections, private pay, and PA Medicaid. This full-time position offers remote work with possible in-office hours and will support

Qualifications

Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred) in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in home health billing.
Recent experience with popular home health billing software.

Responsibilities

Initiate and maintain complete patient billing records in compliance with policy and regulations.
Post payments accurately from insurance and track balances to ensure timely cash flow.
Process Medicaid and private pay billing with attention to denials and timely filing.
Monitor aging and AR days to keep targets (60–90 days as a guideline).
Coordinate with facilities and departments to ensure accurate payments and referrals.
Maintain confidentiality of patient billing records and support regulatory compliance.
