Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Health Billing and Collections Specialist. The role is remote with occasional in-office hours; candidate ideally resides in Ohio.

You will manage daily billing and collections for Home Health Revenue Cycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Requirements include 3–5 years in home health billing, DDE knowledge, and experience with home health billing software.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred) in related field or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in home health billing.
• Recent experience with popular home health billing software.
• Knowledge of DDE is a must.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain complete and accurate patient billing records while maintaining confidentiality of patient billing records to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Accurate cash posting and balancing monies from insurance plans; finalize month-end closings and reconcile accounts.
• Bill insurance plans for denials and/or collections; coordinate with nursing facilities on Medicaid-related payments and admissions.
• Review monthly aging and AR; maintain days in AR at or below 60–90 days; report issues to Revenue Cycle Manager.
