Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Health Billing and Collections Specialist. The role entails daily billing and collection operations for the Home Health Revenue Cycle Department, ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of home health billing experience, knowledge of DDE, and proficiency with home health billing software. The position offers remote work with some in-office hours, and a 8:30 am – 5 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education, training and experience preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in home health billing.
• Experience with home health billing software and DDE is required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain complete patient billing records in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
• Post cash and reconcile payments from insurance plans by month-end.
• Process denials and coordinate with facilities for Medicaid-related tasks.
• Review aging and manage AR to keep cash flow healthy and within targets.
