Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Shared Living Provider to offer care to individuals with developmental disabilities from your home. This full-time, remote role offers a daily stipend and comprehensive training, including CPR and First Aid, with support from an organization that handles billing and 24/7 assistance.

You will foster independence, supervise daily activities, and help clients participate in community outings while maintaining health and safety.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Fewer than 6 points on motor vehicle record in last 2 years.
• Spare bedroom and willingness to share your home.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are always met.
• Supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Integrating the individual into your everyday life
• Participating in community outings and appointments through transporting and assisting the individual served.
