Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, nutrition, kinesiology, psychology, or related field.
• A recognized certification (Health Coach, Nutritionist) or equivalent credential.
• At least 2 years in health coaching or wellness programming.
• Solid knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and mental wellness.
• Comfortable running sessions on Zoom or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage a full caseload and stay organized.
• Experience with group coaching or corporate wellness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients over video, phone, or chat to understand goals, habits, and roadblocks.
• Build wellness plans covering exercise, food, sleep, and stress — not just one slice of health.
• Coach clients through setbacks without letting a bad week turn into a bad quarter.
• Teach practical stress-reduction tools like breathing techniques or short mindfulness practices.
• Give nutrition guidance clients can use at a grocery store, not just in theory.
• Adjust exercise routines as fitness levels change, and flag form issues before injuries.
• Check in on a regular cadence so plans don’t fall apart between sessions.
• Know when a client’s mental health needs are beyond scope and refer to a licensed professional.
