Candidates should have English and HMONG fluency, strong listening and note-taking skills, and be comfortable explaining cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication. Full-time remote shifts are available with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and HMONG.
• Minimum 6 months of interpretation experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts with permission or at the request of the client.
• Quiet, secure home office environment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide HMONG–English remote interpretation.
• Maintain high accuracy and adhere to interpretation protocol.
• Use glossaries and dictionaries as needed.
