Job summary

Q Care Plus seeks a Senior Clinician (MD/DO) to lead telemedicine-based HIV prevention and sexual health services nationwide. You will balance leadership with patient care, guiding clinicians, ensuring quality and safety, and driving innovative care delivery across our virtual platform.

The role emphasizes 75% leadership/oversight and 25% direct patient care, with a focus on implementing protocols, improving outcomes, and expanding services nationwide.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license in at least one state.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in HIV, infectious disease, sexual health, public health, STI care, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership, medical management, or clinical supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct provider supervision in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and supervision for a national team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
• Monitor clinical quality, patient outcomes, and adherence to established clinical protocols.
• Conduct routine chart reviews and quality assurance audits.
• Manage clinical escalations, patient safety concerns, and provider performance issues.
• Lead performance feedback, corrective action processes, and annual evaluations.
• Foster clinician engagement, wellness, and professional development.
• Deliver telemedicine-based clinical care in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using Q Care Plus telehealth platforms.
