Job summary

CampusWorks is seeking Financial Aid Consultants to help higher education clients strengthen their financial aid operations and student experience. Consultants apply subject matter expertise to guide clients in best practices and maximize technology use, potentially serving as Interim Financial Aid Director, leading a business process review, or optimizing a campus ERP.

Engagements can be remote or on-site with hybrid presence and travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in all aspects of college student financial aid
• Leadership roles in financial aid department
• Experience with highly automated financial aid management systems
• Ability to train end users in appropriate software use
• Strong communication and consulting skills

Responsibilities

• Interim Financial Aid Director and lead department staff
• Provide oversight, direction, and coordination of current financial aid projects
• Assess the efficiency of the financial aid/student accounts department
• Provide financial aid consulting to higher education clients
• Guide clients through financial aid regulatory issues
• Design and deliver training
• Assist clients in aligning policy, process, and personnel to leverage financial aid solutions
