Qualifications

• Minimum six years in high voltage systems and substations.
• P.E. license in Electrical Engineering or equivalent accepted.
• Formal apprenticeship completion or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, train, and assist site personnel in safe work practices and maintenance.
• Support projects across the US, Canada, and Mexico in HV maintenance.
• Review maintenance/test reports and propose follow-up actions.
• Be onsite during planned outages for critical decisions.
• Direct site BOP/HV specialist in high voltage switching and grounding.
• Develop safe work practices for substation maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with the NERC compliance team for audits.
• Interview, select, and train site BOP/HV specialists.
• Assist with planning and budgeting of planned substation maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
