Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) is seeking a Student Enrollment Coordinator for High School Study Abroad. The remote Massachusetts-based role focuses on growing enrollment, guiding applicants from inquiry to participation, and engaging families to find the best study abroad options.

The position requires 2+ years in customer service or sales, strong communication, and willingness to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
• Minimum two years of customer service or sales experience.
• Ability to navigate challenging conversations.
• International travel or study abroad experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Convey the value and outcomes of study abroad to U.S. high school students and guardians.
• Follow a structured sales outreach process via phone, text, and email.
• Handle 20–60 calls per day depending on season.
• Coach participants and families through scholarship and application processes.
• Provide professional customer service throughout the application journey.
• Host webinars for students and parents, including some evening hours.
• Present to students/parents at high schools and fairs with some domestic travel.
• Review applications, accept applicants, convert to paid participants.
• Ensure participant financial accounts are accurate and paid in full.
• Use Salesforce to manage your applicant pipeline and reach sales goals.
• Maintain records of communications in Salesforce.
• Provide on-program participant support throughout the year.
• Participate in ongoing sales training and skills development.
• Flexibility for evening hours to reach students/guardians.
• Emergency support during 1–2 travel weekends per year.
• Opportunity to travel internationally to chaperone groups.
