Stride K12 in partnership with Digital Academy of Texas (DATX) seeks a remote High School Social Studies Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. You will deliver course content online, monitor progress in the Stride K12 learning management system, and support students’ individual needs from home with occasional travel for events.

Requires a bachelor's degree and an active state teaching license; strong data literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to collaborate with teachers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and use student data for instructional decisions.
• Willingness to receive coaching from administrators and teacher trainers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn new technologies and teaching platforms quickly.
• Experience teaching online or in-person and familiarity with K12 systems/curriculum.

Responsabilités

• Deliver course content in an online environment and monitor student progress.
• Maintain grade book, advise on student placement, and communicate concerns to administrators.
• Support learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and virtual classroom troubleshooting.
• Travel as required for professional development and testing.
