Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a High School Academic Administrator to lead Legends Virtual Academy (LVA) in Alabama, ensuring educational programs meet state standards and student needs are addressed within a remote delivery model.

The role requires a valid School Administrator license, a Master’s degree, and at least five years of educational experience with supervisory responsibilities. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, education or related field is required
• Five (5) years of educational experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience or equivalent
• State License as a School Administrator required
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with online/virtual education models and technology

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of students
• Manages Master and Lead Teachers and programs
• Ensures compliance with state/local standards and develops Academic Improvement Plan
• Communicates effectively with teachers, parents and enrollment regarding student progress
• Oversees remote/virtual learning environment and utilizes communication technologies
