Stride K12 is seeking a remote High School Math Teacher for the West Virginia Virtual Academy. This full-time role delivers online math content, supports students and families, and monitors progress using our learning system.

Requires a valid state teaching license, online teaching experience, and proficiency with Excel/Office. Occasional travel (~20%) for testing and professional development is expected. Salary ranges from $44,000 to $46,000 plus a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid state teaching license.
• Experience teaching online or in virtual environments.
• Experience with online learning platforms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Augments course content according to policies using asynchronous and synchronous tools.
• Maintains grade book and monitors student progress and performance.
• Supports learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and basic troubleshooting in a virtual classroom.
• Travels as required for face-to-face professional development and testing (~20% of the time).
