Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC is seeking a Help Desk Tier I support specialist to support HUD and our government customer in a remote role. You will provide first-line technical assistance for users, devices, and accounts.

The ideal candidate will have prior Tier I experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with LANs, WANs, and server infrastructure. Collaboration with HUD staff, contractors, and teammates is required.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• College experience a plus.
• Experience with virtual private networking and/or home networking a plus.
• Prior Help Desk Tier I experience preferred, extensive knowledge of MS Office beyond basic personal use required, familiarity with technical infrastructure to include LANs, WANs, and servers.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from customers regarding requests, incidents or problems.
• Document all aspects of the interaction in the ticketing system.
• Maintain a pleasant demeanor during all customer engagements.
• Immediately escalate any issue identified as security related.
• Ability to conduct meaningful Knowledge Base searches to pull correct information.
